Interview with The Ghost Of You!

PSAB: Where does the band name "The Ghost Of You" come from?

TGOY: Our vocalist Chris' father passed away and he likes to think his fathers spirit is always in the crowd.

PSAB: You released your Spectre EP last month. How has the feedback been for that?

TGOY: It went well considering our budget was almost non existent and our main promotions were playing shows, business cards with download sites, social media, and friends or mainly NC fanbase.

PSAB: If you had the choice to have a musician featured on one of your tracks. Which musician would that be and why? 

TGOY: Spenser Sotelo because his voice goes up like an angel and down like a wounded ox.

PSAB: How is the metal scene in Morehead City, NC? 

TGOY: Morehead City has an absolute 0 metal scene.  We travel at least 45 miles to play our "local" shows.  And mainly play in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington NC.

PSAB: What are your plans for this upcoming Fall season? 

TGOY: Record an album, get signed :), continue to play with nationally renowned bands, plan a tour for the spring season.

PSAB: Have any shout outs to give to the readers?

TGOY: Shout outs go to Ryan Stevens, Zach Norman, Kevin Gay, PMG, family and friends.

  2. An unadulterated experience in watching this band perform. The musicians all highly trained know how to put on a show and their original music is likely to go hit the national and possibly international scene very soon. Great job guys!
