Interview with Nova: Rebirth!

PSAB: Where does the band name "Nova: Rebirth" come from? 

NR: The term "Supernova" means, " a star that suddenly increases greatly in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that ejects most of its mass." from that mass comes new stars and new novas. A sort of "Rebirth" so to speak in the galaxy. When i created this band i had just left a lot behind in my own personal life and needed to create a rebirth of life so to speak, so it just fit perfectly. 

 

PSAB: When can your fans expect your EP to drop? Sometime soon? 

NR: Our first single for the EP "WorldEater", releases January 1st. On that date along with the Lyric video we have in the works for it, being made by the wonderful ZW Multimedia ("The Uprise, Famous Last Words","The Word Alive, Never Forget", "Oceano, Slow Murder"), We will release the full release date of the album. We are in the process of relocating to a new area to start playing shows and touring more often so the albums release date is still up in the air until that date, but it will be out before the end of 2015 no matter what! 

 

PSAB: You're currently sponsored by Djent Core Promotions. How has the experience been being sponsored by them? 

NR: We love them to death! They've spread our first teaser of the album like the plague and we've been super thankful for the exposure they've provided for us as well as my past bands over time. 

 

PSAB: How's the metal scene in Seattle, WA? 

NR: Wonderful coming a from an Arizona raised local haha, hence why we are relocating to the closer seattle area, so as to be closer to venues and what not. EL Corazon will be seeing the most of us in the coming months. 

 

PSAB: What do you do outside of making music? Hobbies. 

NR: I, myself collect tattoos, drink copious amounts of Rockstar, and hang out with my pet rat Nova. As for the dudes; jesse, does a lot of artistic stuff with ceramics, and can play a mean kazoo, Garett just spends time with his family all the time, and plays guitar.
