Bayharbour Releases New Song (And Video) Titled "Reawaken"

Taken from an email I received from Mannequin Republic Band Management,

"Bayharbour release brand new music video, “Reawaken”, the title track off their upcoming EP.  Early reviews point to “Reawaken” as the metalcore anthem of the current alternative music scene and is expected to spark a new wave of appreciation for heavy music in Australia.

“This is the video we really wanted” say Bayharbour, whose new clip was filmed at Brisbane’s Tall Poppy Productions and features live shots from inside the mosh pit surrounded by a mass of Bayharbour faithful.

The video captures what the Brisbane music scene is all about; the struggle to be heard and rise above restrictions for the sake of expression and freedom.  We encourage everyone to go to YouTube right now and see the new “Reawaken” video for free below

“Reawaken” is only a taste of things to come from Bayharbour as they prepare to launch their new EP, also titled Reawaken, in the coming winter of 2014.

The track was recorded and edited by Joel Adams at Gasworks Studios and Doug Clarke at Hunting Grounds Studios in Brisbane.  Mixing and mastering by Brian Hood at 456 Recordings in Nashville, TN.  The video was filmed by David Blackley of Her Name is Murder Productions.

Bayharbour are a 5 piece metalcore band from Brisbane who have been lighting a fire under the local scene since their signing with Mannequin Republic in 2013.  The band features Thomas Bryden (guitars), Doug Clarke (guitars), Nat Patterson, (drums), Marcus Parente (bass) and Josh McMillan (vocals).

Performing regularly in Fortitude Valley’s heavy music clubs along with tours to regional Queensland and New South Wales, Bayharbour have also supported mega-bands from America such as Every Time I Die, Bleeding Through, Born of Osiris, After The Burial and Vanna.

Bayharbour are managed by Mannequin Republic Band Management, Brisbane.  For more information on the band, the upcoming Reawaken EP or the music video, please contact Tom Byrnes at tom@mannequinrepublic.com.au."
