PSAB: Why did you choose the name "Devour The Fetus" for your band?
DTF: Because Zyigh (guitarist) and I (singer) love to cook and love to breeeeeee! So we decided to mix those two passions. And here it is: Devour the fetus, with love, breeeee and guts (always with carrot and onions of course).
PSAB: When can we expect your full length album Cook n' Roll to release? You say this month, but the month is nearly over.
DTF: The full length will be released June the 2nd. We had some delay but the beast is coming !
PSAB: You're currently signed to Nice To Eat You Records. How has the experience been being signed to them?
DTF: Really cool! Vladimir from Nice To Eat You booked us lot of shows everywhere in Europe. We hope that we'll be sharing stage with lot of crazy bands! Some really good shows are already planned with Vladimir (October @ Egelsee). We are also keeping busy with date organizing: we are doing a mini tour with Cremated Lives (Russia) in December. PSAB: What is the local metal scene like in your area?
DTF: Our local scene is really underground. We have lots of good bans but the scene is not dynamic enough. Benighted is maybe the most influent brutal death band in France. But some cool bands such as Ad Patres, Disgraseed and Darkall Slaves are also getting bigger. Kronos was a great band, but they have to many line-up problem, I hope they will come back ! Our local scene is rich, it just has to grow up and spread its brutality !
PSAB: Why did you choose the type of metal you play over the other sub-genres of metal?
DTF: Because brutal death slam is so groovy. It's the good mix between brutality and groove, and it's really perfect for live.
PSAB: Do you have any shout outs to give to your fans?
