Genre: Melodic Deathcore / Melodic Death Metal
Indecent Demise's final album, Born To The Dead, was released shortly after the band called it quits. The album has six songs and roughly 20 minutes worth of material. Also, it's free to download on their Facebook page and their YouTube channel. Born To The Dead has a very strong death metal sound to it.
"Black Mourning" is the introduction song for this album. It starts with a guitar playing which is than accompanied by another guitar playing. The guitar playing is very melodic. It has a strong death metal influence to it, and it also has an eerie feel to it. About 50 seconds in, drums come barging in and soon thereafter the blast beats are heard. There is a guitar solo quickly after the blast beats, and I am assuming this is to show the melodic side of Indecent Demise. The song transitions into an upbeat pace and sound, but then transitions into an ambient sound to lead into the next song.
"Denizens of Lust" is the following track. It starts out with high screams by Ben and blast beats. It transitions into a more melodic sound with the guitar playing, and the vocals change into primarily low screams. There is a small break a bit into the song but it doesn't last long until the original pace/sound of the song comes back. Following this, there is a small guitar solo that is soon overlapped by more high screams. It continues this pace until the end of the song.

Born To The Dead is more melodic death metal than deathcore, because I couldn't really detect too much deathcore influence. This isn't a bad thing, because this album is pretty good. I do wish Indecent Demise would be continuing on, just so I could see what their next album would bring. Alas... that isn't going to happen. So! If you're into melodic death metal or death metal in general, you should give this a go. It's free to download, so you don't lose anything on it.
