Interview with Cleobury!

Band: Cleobury
Genre: Progressive / Hardcore

Q: What does the band name "Cleobury" mean?

Cleobury is a made up name that means self fulfillment to us. It symbolizes family to all of us.

Q: You were recently endorsed by Explore Apparel, how is it to be endorsed by them?

Great. They are a sick company with sick gear. They do so much support for the bands.

Q: You released an album your album A Series of Ones and Zeros in 2010, when can we expect another album?

We will be in the studio in late January. Our new album will be out this summer 2013.

Q: How many live shows have you played, and which one has been your favorite thus far?

We have probably played over 300 live shows in the last four or five years. In 2011 we played with After the Burial at the Orpheum in Madison WI. But I would have to say that the touring part of being a band is the best. It's like weeks of straight fun no work.

Q: What bands did you listen to growing up, and did any of those bands influence your music now?

We are into Norma Jean, Meshuggah, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, and lots of Veil of Maya. We try to smash all that together to make our sound.

Q: What are your plans in early 2013?

We have a couple spring/summer tours that are in the works plus the releasing of our new album.

Q: Any shout outs to give?

Shout out to our boys in the Guardians and War Of Abaddon
