Interview with Chamber of Malice!

Band: Chamber of Malice
Genre: Deathcore

Q: Why did you choose the name "Chamber of Malice" for your band?

One day we were in our rehearsal room and ordered some Thai food at a diner called "KimKim". Everyone of us was hungry as hell, and while we waited for our food, that room was like a chamber... every minute seemed to be as long as a whole day... We don't know who said that first, but it really was like a chamber of malice... :)

Q: How was the feedback from your demo you released last year?

The feedback we received was really impressive. We never expected so much positive feedback. Meanwhile we've got facebook-likes from all over the world, awesome!

Q: What are three bands that play a big influence on your music?

Three bands... that's not much, and it's really hard to choose. There are too many awesome bands out there, even regarded Germany-wide! So i think the biggest influence for us is So this is Suffering.. followed by the old stuff of Chelsea Grin... and rounded by a small amount of Science of Sleep. .. Ah we have to mention Infant Annihilator and Acrania too... Amazing what they achieved with their CD's.. and justifiably so - it's unique!

Q: You are not signed at the moment. If you could be signed to any label, which label would that be?

To be honest, we didn't think about a label yet... but if we could choose without exception. Simply: Sumerian Records

Q: When can we expect new material from your band?

It suits us good that you're asking, we finished the recording for our new EP which will be released in a few weeks. We don't want to tell too much about it, but - it will be brutal as fuck!

Q: What are your plans for this year?

Our plans are: Gigs gigs gigs! And we're quite happy till now. We still have 10 gigs planned for this year, but we need more! So spread around that we're bookable! ;)

Q: Do you have any shout outs to give to the readers?

Yes, THANKS! Thanks to every support from all our fans - and to every band who shared and will share the stage the with us! Thanks to everyone who follows us in Facebook, visits our shows, buys our merch, listens to our songs, laughs about us and feels what deathcore really is!
