Earlier today, Subliminal Groove Records announced that they have signed international progressive death metal/deathcore band Slice The Cake. The announcement was made via their Facebook page,
"After almost two years of intensive on-and-off discussions, at last we are proud to announce that the intercontinental studio project known as Slice The Cake has signed to Subliminal Groove Records- and we could not be happier to welcome these guys to our family!
The members of the band have been hard at work writing their upcoming full length album "Odyssey to the West" which we will be releasing in the near future. In preparation for this upcoming release, we have decided to do limited edition physical re-releases of Slice The Cake's first two albums, "Cleansed" and "The Man With No Face". Pre-orders will be announced in the coming months leading up to the release of the new album. 2014 is shaping up to be quite a year for us here at SGR and we hope you're all just as excited as we are!"
I look forward to what Slice The Cake brings to one of my favorite small-time labels, and the band's new album.
