Genre(s): Deathcore
PSAB: Where did the band name “On Scalar Waves” come from exactly?
OSW: When we met each other for the first time we found ourselves surfing "on scalar waves". No, to be honest, we are interested in arguments like science, astrology, paranormal and so on. In particular, we like this name because it's referred to the scalar waves that are unique electromagnetic waves that act in a different way from the normal kind of waves. We like the fact that they work in a way our physics can't explain and we love the unknown.
OSW: The feedback was instantly amazing to be our first work. We were totally amused to see how much likes and YouTube views we could get in such a little time after the release. We still get feedback now and, though is less than the first period, we are still surprised by it.
OSW: We are working hard to let our EP out as soon as possible, we already finished the pre-production of two songs out five from it. We are trying to improve every piece of it in order to release a bomb for your ears. The aim is to make people feel like they are exploding from the inside and leave our messages in their heart.
OSW: We are proud of being signed in the MYO family. A lot of our friend bands signed in it too, so we will be learning a lot from them, especially playing together when the time comes.
OSW: We are influenced by bands coming from different genres like deathcore, metalcore, djent, although we listen to a bigger variety of music genres. Bands that inspire us the most are As Blood Runs Black, Whitechapel, Chelsea Grin, Here Comes The Kraken, Modern Day Babylon and so on.
PSAB: Do you have any shout outs to give to the readers?
OSW: To all that gave us support by liking our page, downloading our single, listening to our song on YouTube we say: We love you all, thank you so much for this support, we promise our next works will be even better. To all that didn't know us, check our page, listen to our single and if you like it, download it or tell us so. We also want to say Thank You to Pig Squeals And Breakdowns for this interview as an opportunity to be seen by your followers on this page. Greetings from Italy by On Scalar Waves
