PSAB: Why did you
choose the name "Amorous" for your band?
Amorous: We use to have a very long name that was hard to remember but sounded very metal. We had some member change ups and decided to change our name as well. "Amorous" means love or passion in latin, it was appropriate for us since we all are passionate about the music we create.
PSAB: You're currently working on a self-titled EP. When can we expect this EP to release?
Amorous: Our EP will be released on August 19th 2014.
PSAB: If you could share the stage with any band, which band would that be?
Amorous: I Declare War! Fortunately enough we do get to share the stage with the them on August 28th in our hometown Salt Lake City Utah.
PSAB: How is the metal scene in your area?
Amorous: The metal scene is slowly getting better and better. We have good friends and connections in out local scene. Everyone seems to friends in the music scene in Utah making it easier for everyone to get along. The metal scene is bigger in SLC county then Utah county but it's still growing and evolving.
PSAB: If you could bring back one band that has broken up, and tour with them, which band would that be?
Amorous: And Hell Followed With. This is a band that we all adore, so sad they only wrote one album.
PSAB: Do you have any shout outs to give to your fans, and the readers out there?
Amorous: We would like to give a shout out to the guys at Jesse James Studio in Clinton Utah where we just finished recording our self-titled EP, thanks to Jake, Jeff, and Clayton. Also would like to thank our friends, family, and fans. They have supported us over the years and constantly encouraged us. We have a great chance of playing the SLC Utah warped tour this year and we couldn't have done with it with out support form our fans, thank you once again!
