PSAB: Why did you choose the name "Manifested Travesty" for your band?
MT: To
Manifest a Travesty is to show a distorted view of something by one's
appearance or acts. We try to write from that distorted view with our
music and show things from the angle the public maybe didn't think about
before. Plus it's got a pretty cool ring to it. haha.
PSAB: You recently released a track called "That Which Will Never Yield." How has the feedback been for that?
PSAB: You recently released a track called "That Which Will Never Yield." How has the feedback been for that?
MT: It's was really more of a demo to test the waters as far as our sound goes but since it has released we have got for the most part nothing but great vibes which is awesome!
PSAB: You consider yourself as "supercore." What does that mean exactly? Is that an advanced version of deathcore? Or is it simply a sarcastic genre?
MT: Haha, When we got back from recording the Ep's instrumental we were all talking about what we were considered genre wise and it came out to this super long title like Blackened Melodic Deathcore with infusions of blah blah blah, so we just said we are Supercore and laughed about it. After that it just kinda stuck. So i guess it's less sarcastic and more just us being who we are. Isn't that what music's about?
PSAB: How is the metal scene in Seattle, WA?
PSAB: Which bands play the most influence on your music?
PSAB: Have any shout outs to give to the readers out there?
MT: We wanna thank any of the fans that check this out and take the time to listen to our music and everybody out there that is jamming our Demo and waiting for the release of The Blacklist! You all are the reason we do this!
