First up on the list is death metal heavyweights Cannibal Corpse. Their new album A Skeletal Domain releases today through Metal Blade Records. You can purchase it physically here or digitally here. This is the band's 13th album, so you know what to expect from this band; heavy death metal with gory lyrical content.
Next on the list is progressive metal band The Contortionist. Their new album Language released today as well, and was released through eOne/Good Fight Music. You can purchase the album physically here or here, or digitally here. This is the band's third album (not including EP releases), and first album with new vocalist Mike Lessard.
I listened to this album quite a bit different compared to their previous albums Intrinsic and Exoplanet. It is a lot more softer sounding and very atmospheric. But! It's still a fantastic album and I enjoy the direction they went with.
